Description

Please, help Mental Health America of Porter County to provide basic necessities to the people we serve!

We keep a small pantry with necessities for those that are struggling filled with food, hygiene items, paper products, and small gifts/toys.

Bridging the Gap's purpose is to give emergency financial assistance to members of our community who are unable to afford their mental health medications. Often we provide a bag of food and hygiene items to help the family get back on their feet. If we have any toys or fun items that will brighten a families day, we include them as well.

We need:

non-perishable food items: soup, canned meat, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, canned vegetables, etc.

hygiene items: toothpaste, bar soap, feminine products, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, chapstick, paper products.

Fun items for adults and children: activity books, coloring books (adults and children) crayons/pencils, pictures, decorations, gift sets, anything that will bring a smile to someone who is struggling.

You can donate as an individual, as a group or team, or we can set up a pantry drive.

Any questions: Contact Grace at (219)462-6267 or ggidley@menatlhealthpc.org
